PLAGIARISM POLICY

The journal adheres to the national legislation on copyright and protection of intellectual property, as well as international standards of publishing ethics.

The journal supports the idea that any form of academic plagiarism, either full, partial or self-plagiarism, is detrimental to academic exchange.

Plagiarism is considered 'an act or instance of using or closely imitating the language and thoughts of another author without authorization and the representation of that author's work as one's own, as by not crediting the original author' (source).

In order to reveal unethical acts, all the manuscripts submitted are subject to plagiarism check prior to peer reviewing. The control procedure is performed by Antiplagiat (plagiat detection software). Automatic plagiarism detection is supplemented by manual revision of check reports. Final conclusions are made individually for each manuscript checked.

Should any plagiarism be detected and proved, the editorial board will take action in accordance with the recommendations advanced by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE):

• Suspected plagiarism in a submitted manuscript
• Suspected plagiarism in a published manuscript
