AIMS & SCOPE

A primary aim of the journal is to foster communication across fields of pure and applied linguistics and linguage didactics.

The journal scope embraces, but is not limited to, the variety of issues in:

• modern linguistics and translation/localization studies,
• theory and methodology of teaching foreign languages, Russian as a foreign and native language (university level),
• theory and methodology of training professional translators and interpreters.

The journal encourages research papers focused on mass media, scientific, technical and formal language. Fiction is out of the scope.

The examples may be taken from Romance and Germanic languages only.
