SUBJECT OF THE PUBLISHED PAPERS

A submission to “PNRPU Mechanics Bulletin” must be the original work and must not be published elsewhere or under consideration for another publication in its submitted or a substantially similar form in any language. A submission must contain significant results in the deformable solid mechanics, including:

  • Development and application of classical or generalized models of deformation and fracture of solids;
  • Mathematical models of continuous media inelastic deformation, including taking into account microstructure evolution, multilevel models, models of superplastic materials;
  • Models of deformation processes of media with relaxation and phase change;
  • Mechanics of nanomaterials and nanostructures;
  • Engineering mechanics, including rheonomous media mechanics;
  • Mechanics of composite materials and structures;
  • Computational solid mechanics, development and application of modern computing and software;
  • Experimental mechanics of deformable solid mechanics.

Thematically, Journal articles can be divided into three categories:

  1. Review articles on the current state of the problems, description of existing models and approaches.
  2. Articles devoted to a particular section of this topic, for example, models of a particular media, its potential and limitations, the results obtained in the framework of the model.
  3. Articles devoted to solving specific problems, describes the results of modeling a particular process or effect, received directly by the authors.

Since the publication is an educational burden, articles on the first two sections should be confined, that is to include all the necessary definitions, formulations of the basic principles, etc. This would allow to get acquainted with the article without the involvement of a large number of additional sources. In addition, it is desirable to give a rather complete bibliography of scientific references, in which the interested reader can find a detailed exposition of the theory.
