SUBJECT OF THE PUBLISHED PAPERS
A submission to “Technologos” must be the original work and must not be published elsewhere or under consideration for another publication in its submitted or a substantially similar form in any language. A submission must contain significant results in philosophical or historical sciences.
Priority is given to articles on the following topics:
1. Philosophical studies
- modern ontology;
- modern theory of knowledge;
- history of philosophy: classical rationalism, Kant's philosophy, phenomenological and existential tradition, philosophy of language;
- metaphysics of art;
- philosophical anthropology;
- philosophical understanding of technology and engineering creativity, including technology assessment;
- ethics and philosophy of religion.
2. Historical studies
- National History of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries;
- Soviet period in the National History;
- history of production and technical facilities;
- history of social, political and economic problems of industrial development;
- history of education, including technical education;
- study of elites, including the Soviet nomenclature, the modern elite, the technocratic elite;
- history of religion.
Starting from 2015 untill 2018, the journal (old name was "Bulletin of PNRPU. Culture. History. Philosophy. Law") has a thematic issue named Technologos (No. 2). Technologos covers the philosophical and historical problems of engineering, technology and engineering creativity, as well as engineering education.
Admission of articles:
issue 1- until December 20;
issue 2- until March 20;
issue 3- until May 20;
issue 4- until August 20.
Publication of articles is free of charge.
