Russian Journal of Biomechanics (RJB) is an international peer-reviewed journal, which was launched in 1997 to provide an effective platform for researchers from Russia and around the World to publish their new and innovative results in the biomechanics. RJB publishes research papers, review articles, technical notes, and short communications demonstrating new findings to solve the complex contemporary issues faced by biomechanicians using the principles of mechanics to explore biological problems.

The criteria for acceptance of manuscripts include excellence, novelty, significance, clarity, conciseness and interest to the readership.

All articles are peer-reviewed and in case of acceptance will find a place in Russian Journal of Biomechanics based on the merit and innovativeness of the research work. The journal should be of interest essentially to anyone involved in biomechanics.
